I will include videos as soon as possible.

Be patient though, I'm still learning!

Thanksgiving 2009 at our house.
This was 3 tables set up.
Guests brought folding chairs.
Some brought drinks, side dishes.
It was lots of fun and a great time was had by all.

Be patient and give it time to load.

So far this year we'll be feasting with our kids and grandkids.  I'm still learning to take videos and upload them with my little camera so be patient and hopefully I'll a lot on tape for you.

About Grandma Sharon

Yes, I am a real person.

A real grandmother of 5 and growing.

A mother of four wonderful adult children.

A lucky wife of the same man since 1977.

We live in the Chicagoland area.

Count your many blessings,
name them one by one.
Count your many blessings,
and see what God has done.
(Some lyrics from an old hymn I love.)

I have a suggestion: Get a clean piece of paper and write out everything and everyone you're thankful for.

Be very specific.  You can't just say "family", you have to specifically name each person, each friend and each thing, etc.  You will be surprised to see how really blessed you are.  Keep this handy and if you're ever feeling "down" pull it out and read it.  It will lift your spirits to see how God has been working in your life.
